Capacity-Building Opportunity: Queer & Gender Equity Project

Advocates for Youth’s Queer and Gender Equity Project (QGEP) is accepting applications for goal-oriented training and technical assistance to create safer spaces for LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-24. The QGEP seeks to support organizations improve the sexual health of all young people, including LGBTQ youth of color and young people living with HIV.

The goals of Advocates for Youth’s Queer & Gender Equity Project are to:

  • Build the capacity of youth-serving professionals to serve LGBTQ youth of color;
  • Create safe spaces for LGBTQ youth of color; and
  • Redress homophobia and transphobia within the local community (i.e., schools, agencies, community, etc.)
