CDC Guidance: STD Treatment Options During COVID-19

The CDC Division of STD Prevention (DSTDP) released guidance for STD prevention programs, including STD clinics, on providing effective STD care and prevention when facility-based services and in-person patient-clinician contact is limited. The guidance encourages STD programs to consider limiting and prioritizing patients, conducting phone or telemedicine-based triage, and establishing relationships with other clinics and/or pharmacies.
