Climate Action Toolkit Tailored for Local Health Departments

Mar 15, 2023 | Anu Varma

The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), serving nearly 3,000 local health departments (LHDs) across the country, partnered with Climate for Health at ecoAmerica to give members targeted climate-focused resources including a free, four-hour training that will equip health professionals with the knowledge, hands-on experience, and resources to speak and act confidently on climate change, the impacts on health, and solutions. In addition to the training, we worked together to curate action-oriented guides tailored to help LHDs address health equity and climate, mental health, and how to present climate solutions to your community, businesses, and policymakers.
