Communicating COVID-19 Vaccine Efficacy and Effectiveness

Apr 20, 2021 | Beth Hess

The Societal Experts Action Network (SEAN) has released, Understanding and Communicating about COVID-19 Vaccine Efficacy, Effectiveness, and Equity, which explains the science of vaccine efficacy and its practical implications for developing effective communications, especially related to equity in vaccine distribution. The key strategies can be accessed through an interactive web summary.

SEAN will host a webinar to discuss this guidance on Tuesday, May 4 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm ET. This webinar will cover public engagement and communications strategies public officials can use to promote vaccination, build vaccine confidence, and overcome confusing messages about vaccine efficacy.
