Do you want to learn more about the avian influenza?
Avian influenza continues to become more widespread in the U.S. and understandably, the general public has questions on the impact. Please join the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) and CDC for a webinar to discuss recent detections and outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) viruses in U.S. commercial poultry and backyard flocks on Thursday, March 17 at 3:00 pm EDT. Participants will hear from CDC Influenza Division speakers on the process for following farmers and avian outbreak responders during the event, notification of jurisdictions when a responder returns home, monitoring of responders, and testing of symptomatic persons. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session and discussion.
*Note: Webinar capacity is limited to 500 participants, and is first-come, first-served. Webinar information is below; if joining by phone-only, dial by location for better audio quality.
Please email Ashley Vineyard at [email protected] with any questions.
