Deadline Extended: National Environmental Public Health Internship Program

Nov 15, 2017 | Kim Rodgers

The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) has extended the deadline for the National Environmental Public Health Internship Program (NEPHIP), which is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Environmental Health Services Branch. Applications are now due on January 31st.

Local, state, and tribal environmental health departments can apply to host one of 35+ environmental health internships during summer 2018. Students from universities with undergraduate and graduate environmental health programs accredited by the National Environmental Health Science and Protection Accreditation Council may be eligible for internships.

If your health department is interested, learn more about the eligibility requirements and submit an application.
