The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released the 2020 National Preparedness Report which takes an updated, risk-focused approach to summarizing the state of national preparedness in calendar year 2019.
Released in December, the 2020 report helps decision-makers understand the risks facing the Nation and the country’s ability to address those risks. The report includes content that can inspire action and identify areas of focus. The report highlights four critical considerations that underscore the complexity of managing the Nation’s risks and that offer a path forward for emergency management across the Nation.
