The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and federal partners are investigating a multistate outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to frozen shredded coconut. The Evershing International Trading Company has recalled 16 oz. bags of Coconut Tree Brand frozen Shredded Coconut. The CDC recommends that consumers, retailers, and restaurants to discontinue use of the recalled product. Learn more about the recall here.
