The Incident Management Workgroup held its monthly call on February 24. Workgroup members discussed a draft of a policy statement on local workforce development and training for emergency preparedness. NACCHO staff will incorporate their feedback into a final draft prior to the next call. Updates were also provided on different workgroup deliverables, including the strike teams project, the resource guide, and the workgroup’s learning session the 2014 Preparedness Summit. Members of the workgroup have been participating in additional calls between the monthly workgroup calls in order work on these deliverables.
