Knowledge, attitudes, and acceptability of direct-acting antiviral hepatitis C treatment among people incarcerated in jail: A qualitative study

A recent study in PLOS One describes knowledge, attitudes, and acceptability of HCV treatment among people living with HCV in the New York City (NYC) jail system. The findings emphasize the need for peer-led approaches to knowledge dissemination and tailored discharge plans focusing on competing social and economic needs.
