The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in partnership with the American Academy of Pediatrics, developed two community lead exposure prevention education videos that provide an overview of what lead is, where it is found, and why it is important to protect young children from its exposure. Local health departments can use these videos to share on social media and other relevant platforms to reach general audiences!
According to CDC experts, “these videos take a much-needed step towards health equity and promote medical self-advocacy surrounding lead exposure in populations that can benefit the most.” 508 compliant versions of each video are available.
