The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) and the National Coalition of STD Directors launched Making Contact: A Training for COVID-19 Contact Tracers, a free, introductory, online course for entry-level COVID-19 contact tracers planning to work as part of a team with state and local health departments or allied public health agencies. The on-demand course can be taken at any time and includes four lessons that take approximately three hours to complete. A certificate of completion is provided when all requirements are successfully met.
