This year’s theme for National Nutrition Month® is “Put Your Best Fork Forward.” This month is a great way to promote messages about healthy eating in your community. Health.gov has developed a National Nutrition Month Promo Kit to help promote National Nutrition Month as well as the 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also has resources about nutrition, including information to help local programs advance nutrition strategies. To promote nutrition inclusion, the National Center for Physical Activity, Health and Disability (NCHPAD) has a video series featuring nutrition information for people with disabilities and chronic health conditions. Local health departments are encouraged to use these resources to promote healthy eating in the communities they serve.
March is National Nutrition Month!
