NASEM released a suite of materials to supplement the report, Sexually Transmitted Infections: Adopting a Sexual Health Paradigm, which was commissioned by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, through the National Association of County and City Health Officials. These suite of materials includes policy briefs, videos featuring people living with STIs, an interactive quiz, and more. Most notably, the committee spoke with several individuals to gain on-the-ground knowledge and lived experiences to inform the report recommendations. These 2-minute videos highlight the experiences of four of those individuals and relevant report recommendations. Videos: All materials are available to download at no cost at https://www.nationalacademies.org/preventSTIs. |
