The National Environmental Health Association accepting applications for the National Environmental Public Health Internship Program (NEPHIP), funded by CDC to support 19 undergraduate and 6 graduate environmental health student internships during summer 2019.
Selected college students from environmental health programs accredited by the National Environmental Health Science and Protection Accreditation Council (EHAC) will receive a base stipend of $4,000 for undergraduate and $ 6000 for graduate students to complete the 10-week internship. Students temporarily relocating for the internship may be eligible to receive an additional stipend to cover relocation expenses.
Local, state and tribal health departments interested in hosting an environmental health student intern are asked to complete this application form and meet the following eligibility criteria.
