The Community Engagement Playbook was created to guide ATSDR staff, funded partners, public health professionals, and state, territorial, local, and tribal (STLT) partners through four phases and nine key activities of community engagement. The guide offers a framework for four key phases and nine key activities that can be conducted in partnership with a community affected by environmental contamination. Two other key tools, a new CE Planning Tool, and a Guide to Active Listening tip sheet, are also included.
The CE Playbook complements upcoming revisions to the ATSDR Public Health Assessment Guidance Manual (coming in 2022).
We encourage members to explore the new tools!
