CDC has published a new webpage that includes information about the risk of COVID-19 for people with chronic liver disease, including hepatitis B and C. The webpage details what is and isn’t known about COVID-19 and liver disease, including the impact of COVID-19 on the liver, the risk for COVID-19 among people living with hepatitis B or C, and what people living with or at risk of viral hepatitis should do to protect themselves against COVID-19.
