The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division of Tuberculosis Elimination (DTBE), released a new slide set titled “Introduction to Tuberculosis (TB).” This slide set is meant to be a tool for people who are not familiar with TB. It provides a basic overview of TB using plain language and visual aids. Unlike the other DTBE slide sets which are often directed at those working in TB, this slide set is designed for a general public audience.
The PowerPoint is 40 slides long and there is a companion narrative PDF that describes some background for the slides and can be used as a presenter guide. Both resources can be downloaded here.
