The Council to Improve Foodborne Outbreak Response (CIFOR) invites you to complete a brief content review survey of the second edition of the CIFOR Guidelines. Information collected here will be used to inform revisions in 2018 to produce the third edition. CIFOR will be revising and expanding upon the following topics in the new edition: culture-independent diagnostic test (CIDT), whole genome sequencing, and communications. We are looking for “high-level” feedback rather than “wordsmithing” in this content review. Of particular importance is to identify areas where the evidence base for model practices has changed, or new approaches need to be addressed.
