Congress passed a budget deal on February 9th which raised the spending caps and potentially increases the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) funding level. Now is the time to ensure that STD programs see that funding.
STDs are at their highest levels ever and federal funding for STD prevention is at a 20-year low! The National Coalition for STD Directors (NCSD) needs your voice to address this problem. Please reach out to your members of congress today and insist that they restore the funding cut to STDs.
Using this tool, NCSD suggests that you reach out to your Members of Congress from your personal email and devices during your personal time (lunch break, morning/evening) or during non-federal/state time. We encourage you to update your pre-filled information as you take action so that the message is being sent from your personal email address.
NSCD thanks you for your commitment!
