Registration Open for 2021 Preparedness Summit

Feb 02, 2021 | Beth Hess

Due to the ongoing public health impacts of COVID-19, NACCHO has decided to transition the 2021 Preparedness Summit from an in-person meeting to a fully virtual experience from April 13 to 15, 2021. As it did in 2020, this year’s Preparedness Summit will offer a much-needed opportunity to share your experiences, learn from others, and mobilize our fields as the enduring COVID-19 pandemic continues to intersect with other crises, from hurricanes to wildfires and beyond.

Register today for the 2021 Prep Summit. Early-bird registration is available through February 24, 2021.

About this year’s theme: As the enduring COVID-19 pandemic continues to intersect with other crises, from hurricanes to wildfires and beyond, we are reminded that public health threats are always looming and crises are just around the corner. The 2021 Preparedness Summit theme, When Crisis is Commonplace: Transforming Your Community’s Public Health Preparedness Practices, will focus on how we must adapt our preparedness and response infrastructure to this reality and will highlight tools, resources, and policies that enable us to meet the many challenges we as public health professionals continue to face every day.

As the first and longest running national preparedness conference, the Preparedness Summit is the place for you to reenergize while gaining the knowledge, resources, and relationships necessary to prepare for and respond to public health emergencies. Don’t miss your chance to join more than 1,000 attendees—who work in all levels of government (local, state, and federal), emergency management, volunteer organizations, healthcare coalitions, and academia—to share best practices, build partnerships, advance your skillset, and take away innovative solutions and practical strategies to address the vulnerabilities in our nation’s health security system.

We hope you will join us! Register today!
