NACCHO’s STI, Harm Reduction, and HIV team is accepting proposals for an expert consultant in braided funding mechanisms to support the technical assistance (TA) for local health departments under the Status Neutral Approach to Improve HIV Prevention and Health Outcomes for Racial and Ethnic Minorities (SNAP) Initiative. This initiative, supported by funding from HRSA, aims to advance the development, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of whole-person approaches to reduce disparities, prevent new HIV diagnoses, and improve health outcomes for communities disproportionately affected by HIV and related syndemics.
NACCHO invites applications from consultants skilled in capacity-building and technical assistance to support LHDs in implementing braiding funding mechanisms, as well as sustainability planning for local health department HIV programs implementing status neutral approaches. Up to $75,000 is available to the awarded consultant to support this project. Applicants should review the RFA for additional details.
