Request for Proposals: Leveraging Intersectional Frameworks and Tools for Data-to-Action at the Local Level Project

Jan 17, 2025 | Camille Adams

In partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), NACCHO is pleased to announce the Leveraging Intersectional Frameworks and Tools for Data-to-Action at the Local Level (LIFT) Project. The aim of the LIFT project is to recruit local health departments (LHDs) with interest or experience in working at the intersection of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), positive childhood experiences (PCEs), substance use disorder (SUD), and overdose to pilot and provide feedback on an intersection-focused Data-to-Action Framework. The Data-to-Action Framework outlines a process for LHDs to:

  • Identify gaps in available data relevant to this intersection
  • Access, gather, and interpret data relevant to this intersection
  • Strengthen or build data partnerships
  • Use data to inform program planning and decision-making for integrated approaches to prevention ACEs, SUD, and overdose and to promote PCEs

Through this funding NACCHO will award up to ten (10) LHDs with varying levels of experience working at this intersection with an award of up to $25,000, to pilot the newly developed Data-to-Action Framework Tool from March 1-July 31, 2 025. Through the pilot, awarded LHDs will gain skills and tools to use for their own data-to-action efforts while also contributing their expertise and experience to the field.

For full details about the funding opportunity, please review the Request for Proposals.

NACCHO invites interested applicants to participate in an optional informational webinar on Tuesday, February 4, from 2:00-3:00 pm ET.
