NACCHO, with support from the CDC, is accepting proposals to contribute to the revision of the Roots of Health Inequity Online Course. Applicants should demonstrate experience developing content and/or curricula around public health history with a health equity and/or social justice lens. Additionally, applicants should possess subject matter expertise that includes an understanding of how public health history relates to root cause systems. Familiarity with intersectionality as a framework is highly recommended. The RFP can be found here.

Unit III: Public Health History
Summary: This unit will discuss the scope of public health’s roles and responsibilities across history, acknowledging its evolution over time and its connection to social history more broadly.
NACCHO will award $35,000 for the development of Unit III. The estimated project period of performance will be from March 27, 2023-July 31, 2023.
Applications will be accepted from Friday, December 16, 2022 to Friday, February 3, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
