The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) recently released the Rural and Frontier Healthcare Coalitions: A Preparedness and Response Snapshot fact sheet.
NACCHO conducted key informant interviews with rural and frontier healthcare coalitions (HCC) from nine states to document the responsibilities, capabilities, and challenges of coalitions in these areas. The findings from these interviews may be used by HCC coordinators, funders, and policymakers to inform future HCC research, guidance, and investments.
This fact sheet provides a look into the specific challenges and opportunities rural and frontier HCCs face.
The most current version of the fact sheet can be found here in the NACCHO Toolbox.
