The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is working with federal partners across the Public Health Emergency Medical Countermeasures Enterprise (PHEMCE) to assess the various medical countermeasure (MCM) response plans and guidance currently in development by the federal government to support public health emergency efforts. As a critical part of this effort, CDC is hosting an invitation-only workshop on June 6, 2016 in Atlanta to consult with MCM planners within state, local, tribal, and territorial public health departments; healthcare preparedness professionals; and emergency management professionals.
Travel costs for participants will be covered under a contract with the National Emergency Management Association (NEMA). Space is limited, so those interested in being considered for participation in this workshop should contact NEMA’s Ashley House by March 24, 2017.
