Travel scholarships are currently available for the Integrated Foodborne Outbreak Response and Management (InFORM) 2017 Conference. Scheduled for November 6-9, 2017 in Garden Grove, CA, this event will convene food safety professionals from across the country to discuss surveillance and outbreak detection of enteric diseases, focusing on illness caused by contaminated food, water, and animals.The InFORM conference is coordinated by the CDC’s Enteric Diseases Laboratory Branch and Outbreak Response and Prevention Branch, Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA’s) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
Travel funds are intended for state and local public health officials (i.e.,Epidemiologists, Environmental Health and Laboratory PulseNet Staff) without access to ELC or EIP funding.
