Viral Hepatitis Strategic Plan and National Progress Report

CDC’s Division of Viral Hepatitis (DVH) published its 2025 Strategic Plan for preventing and controlling viral hepatitis. The plan outlines DVH’s goals and strategies to reduce new viral hepatitis infections, reduce viral hepatitis-related morbidity and mortality, and reduce viral hepatitis-related disparities. This plan introduces a fourth goal to establish comprehensive national viral hepatitis surveillance.
