Webinar: Overview of Updated COVID-19 Guidance for Operating Early Care and Education/Child Care Programs

Jan 31, 2022 | Beth Hess

NACCHO invites local health department leadership and staff to participate in a webinar, “Overview of Updated COVID-19 Guidance for Operating Early Care and Education/Child Care Programs,” on Thursday, February 3, 3:00-4:00 PM ET.

On January 28, CDC released updated COVID-19 Guidance for Operating Early Care and Education/Child Care Program. This updated guidance reflects new quarantine and isolation guidance and recommendations, specifying the circumstances when quarantine and isolation may be shortened. In addition, the updated guidance emphasizes the importance of a layered COVID-19 prevention strategy since most children in this age group are not eligible for vaccination. Join NACCHO on February 3 to hear from CDC representatives on the updated guidance for early childhood education and childcare programs. Please note, this webinar will note be recorded.

This webinar is open to all members of local health departments as well as other community partners who are interested in this topic. In order to join the call, please REGISTER HERE (only registered participants will be able to join).
