On April 10, NACCHO, the National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD), and the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) co-hosted a webinar, “Engaging with Tribal Communities in Responding to STDs: An Update on the Indian Health Service’s STD Surveillance Report & How Health Departments Can Collaborate with Tribal Organizations.”
The webinar addressed STD rates and disparities among American Indian/Alaska Native populations at the national level and looked at key actions that state and local health agencies can take to build and strengthen partnerships with tribal communities to address STD rates. The webinar recording and presentation slides are now available.
If you have questions for the presenters, you can contact them directly; email addresses are listed on the last slide of the presentation slides.
