The Health Resources and Services Administration, HIV/AIDS Bureau’s Building Futures: Supporting Youth Living with HIV project is hosting four technical assistance webinars in August for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) providers serving youth. The series, Improving Services to Youth Living with HIV: Lessons from the Field, will cover the experiences of RWHAP-funded providers in developing and enhancing services geared toward youth living with HIV and will highlight a newly developed Building Futures: Supporting Youth Living with HIV technical assistance toolkit aimed at improving youth viral suppression and treatment adherence. Below are the dates for the series:
- Infrastructure Development (August 9, 2:00pm ET) – Focus on staff recruitment and retention, improving communication with youth, and LGBTQ-friendly policies
- Informing Program Development, (August 16, 2:00pm ET) – Focus on gathering feedback from youth and data-driven programming
- Wraparound Services (August 23, 2:00pm ET) – Focus on youth support groups, support service needs, and re-engaging youth lost to care
- Clinical Service Models (August 30, 2:00pm ET) – Focus on youth-centered services and interdisciplinary care teams
