The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently released recommendations to guide the prioritization process and support health departments’ abilities to implement the most impactful public health activities. NACCHO hosted a webinar on Thursday, February 11 from 2-3 pm ET to learn more about the prioritization recommendations and ask questions.
CDC’s Division of STD Prevention released updated STI prevalence, incidence, and cost estimates as part of a special issue in the journal Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
NACCHO will fund up to 4 local health departments (LHDs) up to $100,000 each to implement pharyngeal gonorrhea test of cure. This implementation will provide essential information about the feasibility of implementing TOC for all pharyngeal gonorrhea cases in clinical practice.
