NACCHO, in partnership with the CDC, has compiled resources to enhance the capacity of local health department staff to address unique needs in a range of high-risk facility types.
In alignment with this strategy, NACCHO partners with CDC to support local health departments (LHDs) in conducting activities within each of the Overdose Prevention Strategies' priorities.
NACCHO will award up to $60,000 for a consultant, or consulting firm, to assist NACCHO with conducting a workforce assessment to evaluate LHD staff capacity related to healthcare-associated infections (HAI) and antimicrobial resistance (AR). The selected consultant will create assessment tools, conduct data collection and analysis, and develop a final report with results.
The IDEA EH Award will celebrate organizations whose environmental health leadership exemplifies inclusion, diversity, and equity. Nominations will be accepted through August 5, 2022.
