NACCHO, with support from the CDC’s Division of STD Prevention, is pleased to announce two new funding opportunities for health departments to partner with other healthcare entities to expand STI and HIV services, treatment, and care in their communities.
World AIDS Day is honored annually on December 1 to increase HIV awareness, destigmatize the status, and serve as a marker of collective experiences that have impacted, and by their own will, empowered the community of individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
NACCHO will award up to $20,000 to hire a consultant to provide subject matter expertise, technical assistance, and strategic planning support to one EHE jurisdiction, and create materials to support widespread scaling of model practices to other jurisdictions around the country.
