NACCHO is seeking a consultant to develop micro-learnings, educational strategies that break complex topics down into short-form, for local health department grantees of CDC’s National Initiative to Address COVID-19 Health Disparities Among Populations at High-Risk and Underserved.
NACCHO, in partnership with the Trust for America’s Health and with funding from The John A. Hartford Foundation, has developed a new resource to aid health departments and their partners understand and address healthy aging priorities through data collection and analysis.
National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) is observed yearly the last week of April. This week serves as a great reminder of the importance of continuing to educate and encourage routine vaccinations, especially for vulnerable infants.
Although the emergent time of the COVID-19 pandemic has passed, the work in BIPOC communities continues due to the low vaccination rates and continued health disparities. It will take time to clear the lens to have equity for all.
