A recent CDC study demonstrates a need for LHDs and other local harm reduction programs to ensure they are engaging people who smoke drugs to offer naloxone as well as overdose prevention and response messaging and education.
The Alzheimer’s Association and NACCHO have announced the third cohort of the Healthy Brain Initiative (HBI) Road Map Strategists. This nationwide effort focuses on addressing dementia at the local level, and the Road Map Strategist program increases the capacity of local health departments and tribal health organizations to address brain health in their communities.
NACCHO is seeking a consultant to review and summarize evaluation data, communication products, and other outputs from the past five years of NACCHO’s HAI/AR-related demonstration site projects.
