Washington, DC, July 2, 2020—The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) has elected Sandra Elizabeth Ford, MD, MBA, District Health Director and Chief Executive Officer of the DeKalb County Board of Health to its 2020-2021 Board of Directors as its new President-Elect.
NACCHO has successfully advocated for billions of dollars in federal funding for the public health response to COVID-19 and continues to seek additional funding.
The application period for NACCHO’s 2020 Local Health Department of the Year, the Maurice “Mo” Mullet Lifetime of Service, and the National Advocate of the Year awards is now open.
