    Fighting Rising STI Rates in Anne Arundel County

    Anne Arundel County (MD) is seeing a steady rise in sexually transmitted infections (STI) rates, primarily affecting the 15- to 24- year-old age group. To combat the high rates of chlamydia and gonorrhea, the Anne Arundel County Department of Health’s (AACDOH) HIV/STD Prevention and Care Program has implemented new strategies targeted at the younger population.
