    Expanding Access to STD Testing Through a Walk-In Testing Program

    The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County developed the STD HIV/AIDS Intervention Program (SHIP) walk-in testing program in order to ensure clients who are symptomatic or have been exposed to an STD receive testing and treatment. Quickly diagnosing and treating STDs and HIV/AIDS is good for the client, their partner, and the community.
