The Community Clean Air Ambassadors Program (CCAAP) is a capacity building program, co-developed by Public Health – Seattle & King County (PHSKC) to train community leaders and outreach workers to raise awareness on indoor air quality and equip them with tools, resources, and information to disseminate to their networks to improve their indoor air quality.
Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health has been a longstanding lactation support provider in the community. Historically, breastfeeding parents were offered a universal postpartum program home visit where lactation was discussed and assessed with parents. However, many parents were missing out on lactation support due to determinants of health.
