The Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) and the HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA) recently updated their COVID-19: Considerations for People with HIV resource. This document outlines COVID-19 considerations for people with HIV (PWH), intended to support clinicians and public health officials in areas related to vaccines, clinical trials, patients with HIV hospitalized with COVID-19, diagnostic testing, and issues for ambulatory HIV care management. The information is based on evolving best practices developed during the coronavirus pandemic and the available published data on COVID-19.
