The Boston Public Health Commission is seeking an Informatics Director to provide strategic guidance to BPHC to assure that systems support the information needs of the organization’s programs, policy development, research, and evaluation. The Director will:
- Evaluate necessary changes in existing information resources to 1) ensure that comprehensive, valid, and reliable data are available for program research and evaluation, 2) comply with nationally-recognized data standards, and 3) assess technology solutions. Represent BPHC on national coalitions/work groups to identify and inform best practices.
- Oversee informatics activities, including development of use cases, business cases, and workflow analyses.
- Oversee and evaluate the adoption of automated systems to accommodate complex needs.
