NACCHO, in partnership with CDC, is pleased to accept applications from local health departments who are interested in implementing the Joy in Work framework in their organizations. Adapted from resources published by the Institute for Healthcare Innovation, NACCHO released its Joy in Work Toolkit in response to needs to address retention challenges and foster joy in the workplace. NACCHO is furthering this work by focusing on implementation through the development of a supplemental guide as well as a training series. NACCHO is looking for five local health departments who are interested in piloting the guide and the training, and working with NACCHO to finalize resources before releasing them to a broader audience. Selected health departments will receive two full scholarships to the NA360 conference in Detroit, MI from July 23–26, 2024 as a thank you for their participation and feedback. Please see the Request for Applications for full details and application requirements. Deadline for applications: Friday, February 2, 2024. Please direct any questions about the RFA or the Joy in Work Toolkit to Ashley Edmiston, Director of Workforce and Leadership Development, at [email protected].
