NACCHO, with support from the CDC, is accepting proposals to Support OT-2103 Local Health Department Grant Recipients for the Roots of Health Inequity Course Facilitation and Facilitator’s Guide Revision. The focus of this RFP is to provide a cohort of OT-2103 grant recipients with a virtual and in-person training series of the Roots of Health Inequity Course based on the current Facilitator’s Guide developed by NACCHO. Additionally, NACCHO seeks an applicant who can provide insight on ways to improve the Facilitator’s Guide to better support the training of participants to operationalize lessons learned from the training series. Applicants should be well-versed in facilitating course content for public health practitioners, health equity, social justice, and facilitating discussions around sensitive topics. One (1) award of up to 200,000 each is available. Selections will be made on or around February 3, 2023, and the project period will run from the date of contract execution to July 31, 2023. Applications must be submitted no later than 01/20/ 2023, 11:59 pm ET. Finalists will be contacted for an interview before the contract is awarded.
