June 27th is National HIV Testing Day, a day to raise awareness about the importance of HIV testing and early diagnosis of HIV. The 2020 NHTD theme is about the power of “Knowing”— knowing your HIV status, knowing your risk, knowing your prevention options, and knowing your treatment options.
CDC has compiled a digital toolkit of social media resources to share on NHTD. Additional communication resources about HIV testing are available from the Let’s Stop HIV Together Campaign to promote testing year-round, including animated resources about self-testing and a social media toolkit with up to date images and sample posts on testing, prevention, treatment and stigma.
