Meet Our Members
One of the many benefits of becoming a member is to meet other people working at local public health departments. The NACCHO Membership Department is constantly working to connect members to other members around the country, including a few ways to network online. Take a look at some of NACCHO's platforms and projects below.
NACCHO has two membership profile series to recognize those working to improve local public health:
- Who's Who - NACCHO Workgroup and Committee Chair: This series helps familiarize the entire membership base with those who are leading various workgroups and committees.
- Faces of Local Public Health: A monthly series that highlights the achievements of a person working in local public health. Members can nominate their peers to call attention to the work being performed.
There are also several ways you can connect to NACCHO members through our online directories.
- Directory of Local Health Departments: Use this map to connect with other local health departments near you.
- SACCHOs: Read about some of the SACCHO leaders and find out which states currently have an active state organization dedicated to local public health departments.
