This checklist was developed by the ADA National Network and was intended to help public accommodations identify priorities for improving physical accessibility and work to meet the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design. Under the ADA, state and local governments must ensure that services, programs and activities, when viewed in their entirety, are accessible to people with disabilities. The readily achievablestandard under the ADA applies when barrier removal is easily accomplishable and able to be carried out without much difficulty or expense. State and local governments are not required to take any action that would result in undue financial and administrative burdens. This checklist is designed to help users decide what is readily achievable considering the size, type, and overall finances of the public accommodation and the nature and cost of the access improvements needed. Accessibility: This website is generally accessible using a screen reader. The PDF version of this checklist may not be fully accessible using a screen reader or Read Out Loud. Some images do not have alternate text descriptions and tables may be confusing to navigate.
