As part of a quality improvement (QI) project, the City of Milford Health Department (CMHD) focused on improving the Department's capacity to conduct periodic community health assessments. Through the use of various QI techniques ( Fishbone Diagram and Gantt Chart), CMHD staff and community stakeholders were trained on the importance of community health assessments and quality improvement to increase knowledge of assessment processes, and to brainstorm potential priority areas for the community.
