As part of a quality improvement (QI) project, the Franklin County Board of Health (FCBOH) utilized techniques, such as a Fishbone Diagram, to focus on engaging and informing elected officials, in order to increase the awareness of public health priorities. Specifically, FCBOH developed a monthly e-newsletter for the Franklin County Commissioners to offer timely and consistent information on public health issues
