As part of a quality improvement (QI) project, the Livingston County Department of Health (LCDH) used several QI techniques ( Force Field Analysis, Gantt Chart, Process Mapping, and Radar Chart) to improve fundamental competencies for all staff. As a result of its QI process, LCDH developed a unified performance appraisal process flow chart and communicated agency position competencies to all staff.
