As part of a quality improvement (QI) project, the Mascoma Valley Health Initiative (MVHI) used QI techniques, such as a Fishbone Diagram, to improve education around healthy behaviors. By targeting elementary age children and their families, MVHI implemented a new curriculum around nutrition as it relates to oral health.
